An advertisement from the Post Office Glasgow directory of 1850-1851 for John Urie, a draughtsman and engraver (who reproduces an idyllic view of the banks of the Clyde), and George Bell, a gun-maker and fishing tackle manufacturer who was clearly eager to win the custom of country-dwellers as well as his sporting fellow-citizens.
