A photograph of the junction of Garscube Road (left) and Doncaster Street in North Kelvinside, looking south-east, 1916. The building in the distance, right, on the corner of Hinshaw Street and Doncaster Street, is Springbank School. The school opened in 1884.

There is a poster offering information on "War Cookery" on the wall of the building on the gushet, centre.
