Archbishop Scanlan

The ceremony of cutting the first turf for the new St Margaret's Hospice in Barns Street, Clydebank, by the Most Reverend James Donald Scanlan, Archbishop of Glasgow, 1971.

Archbishop Scanlan (1899-1976) was born in Glasgow and is buried in St Andrew's Cathedral.
