Air ambulance

An air ambulance operated by Northern & Scottish Airways in the 1930s. The plane is a De Havilland Dragon Rapide. The patient has been flown in from one of the islands and is being transferred to a Glasgow hospital (probably the Western or the Southern) by ambulance.
