A Thomas Annan photograph of a portrait of Reverend William Fleming (d 1866). The painting was by John Graham-Gilbert.

Fleming was a librarian at the University of Glasgow who became Professor of Oriental Languages 1831-1839 and was Professor of Moral Philosophy 1839-1866.
